1950s

January 1952

Company name changes to Onamba Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd., and manufacture changes to PVC wires, PVC sheathing products, and PVC tubes.

April 1953

Manufacture of PVC cables begins, and research of “Airn” is started.

April 1954

Cord manufacturing license under the Electrical Appliance and Material Control Regulations is obtained.
